The Civil Defence, Immigration, Fire and Correctional Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform all applicants that the 2025 recruitment online Computer-Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to commence tomorrow, 12th November 2025. All candidates who applied for the 2025 recruitment exercise are advised to take note of their individual exam times and prepare accordingly.
To ensure a smooth examination process, the CBT portal will open 30 minutes before each applicant’s scheduled exam time. Candidates are strongly encouraged to log in early to complete all preliminary checks and avoid last-minute difficulties.

Applicants must only access the exam through this official portal. Attempts to log in through unofficial links or third-party platforms may result in errors or inability to access the test.
Steps to Take the CDCFIB Online CBT Examination
To take your CBT successfully, please follow the steps below:
- Log in at your scheduled exam time
Use your unique login details on the exam portal. Ensure your device has a stable internet connection before attempting to sign in. - Complete the photo verification process
The system will prompt you to take a live photo for identity confirmation. Ensure your camera is functional and your face is clearly visible. - Wait in the virtual waiting room
After verification, you will be automatically placed in a queue. Remain in the waiting room until the system starts your exam.
Candidates should note that if they experience any disconnection during the examination, they can rejoin within the allocated time and continue from where they stopped, provided the exam duration has not elapsed.
