Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics) with 5 – 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be as a Engineering Supervisor at Unilever Nigeria Plc
Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate engineers and technicians.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects within the utility space.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Project & Operations Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from design to execution.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

Technical Oversight:

  • Provide guidance on engineering methods, tools, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Shadow as line focus engineering to deliver optimal efficiency across packing and process line.
  • Ability to lead a detail RCA, EWO to crash BD, MTTR, MTBF

Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other efficiency initiatives.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements of a Engineering Supervisor at Unilever Nigeria Plc
Experiences & Qualifications:

  • HND qualification / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
  • 5–8 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of utility systems (power distribution, HVAC, boilers, chillers, water treatment, etc.).
  • Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office tools.
  • Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
