Nigerian Navy NNBTS Batch 38 Recruitment Portal 2025. The Nigerian Navy wishes to announced the opening of application portal for recruitment into the Nigerian Navy Basic Training Schools (NNBTS) Batch 38, 2025.
Online Registration commences
from 2 to 31 October 2025. The recruitment is opened to SSCE, Trade Certificate, OND, National Diploma and NCE Certificate holders.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Interested and qualifed applicants are to apply FREE OF CHARGE online at https://www,joinnigeriannavy.navy.mil.ng, Only a single valid application is permitted, multiple online applications shall be disqualified.
After completing the online application, applicants are required to print the documents listed below; Acknowledgement Form, Parent/Guardian Consent Form, Local Government Attestation Form (To be signed by a military officer or of the rank of Commander in the NN or equivalent in the AFN or Local Government Chairman), Guarantor’s Certification Form Consent.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens birth and possess National
Identification Number (NIN), Applicants must not be less than 1.68m height for males and 1.65m height for females, Applicants must be medically, psychologically and physically fit and also Applicants must be free of any previous conviction(s) on criminal grounds by a court of law.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
1. Applicants with O’Level SSCE results
must be between the ages of 18
and 22 years as at 31 December 2025.
2. They must possess a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English Language in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB not older than 2019.
3. Applicants with OND/NCE must be
between the ages of 18 and 26 years
while those for Chaplain/Imam Assistant
and Drivers/Mechanic must be
between 18 and 28 years of age as at 31st
December 2025. They must possess a
minimum of 5 credits including
Mathematics and English in not more
two (2) sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB not older
than than 2015.
3. Tradesmen applying for the following
categories must possess Trade Test
certificates as well as a credit in English
Language with minimum of 4 passes in
other subjects NABTEB not older than 2015; Tailoring, Carpentry, Plumbing, Masonry, Welding, Electrical Work, Painting, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology.
4. Applicants applying for professions allied to medicine must posses ND from recognized training institutions in Nigeria and a valid practicing license.
5. Applicants applying as sportsmen/women are to present evidence of their experience, which shall include certificates and medals,
6. All applicants must be proficient in the use of the English language. Failure to communicate in basic English may result in disqualification at any stage of the recruitment process.

Recruitment Examination wil hold
on 29 November 2025 at designated
centres nationwide. Please note that Nigerian Navy Online registration and all other Recruitment processes are FREE OF CHARGE and no payment should be made at any point to anyone throughout the Exercise.
4. The Attestation Form must be
accompanied by the passport photograph
and photocopy of the signee’s Driver
License, International Passport or National ID Card. The signee is also to authenticate the passport photograph of the applicant.
5. Successful applicants will undergo
basic military training and on completion will be enlisted into the Service of the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen.
