The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) has officially released the details for the 2025 Batch B November Diet Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE). All registered candidates are hereby informed that the examination is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 22nd November 2025 across designated centres in all states of the federation. As one of the most important professional examinations for teachers in Nigeria, the PQE is a mandatory requirement for full professional registration and licensing by the TRCN.
This year’s November diet promises to maintain the Council’s standard of ensuring a credible, transparent, and well-coordinated examination process that aligns with global best practices in teacher assessment.
Computer-Based Examination Across All States
In line with TRCN’s commitment to modernization and efficiency, the 2025 November PQE will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). This format enables faster processing of results, minimizes malpractice, and offers candidates a smoother testing experience. All candidates are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with basic CBT procedures, especially those who may not have extensive prior experience with computer-based examinations.
Accreditation Begins at 7:00 AM Prompt
Accreditation is an important part of the examination process, and candidates must pay close attention to this requirement. According to TRCN, the accreditation exercise will begin at exactly 7:00am across all exam centres nationwide. Accreditation will be conducted strictly based on batch arrangements.
Candidates are advised to arrive early to avoid delays. Note that failure to complete accreditation within the allotted time may disqualify a candidate from participating in the exam. To ensure a seamless verification process, candidates should be orderly, attentive to instructions, and fully prepared before arriving at the centre.
Important Instructions for All Candidates
In preparation for the examination, TRCN has provided a set of mandatory guidelines to ensure orderliness, fairness, and security throughout the exercise. All candidates must read and strictly adhere to the following:
1. Eligibility for the Examination
- All applicants who registered for the PQE whether through the TRCN online portal or manual registration at state or zonal offices will write the exam on Saturday, 22nd November 2025. Candidates must verify their details ahead of the exam day to avoid last-minute issues.
2. Examination Venues
- TRCN has released the complete list of exam venues for all states. Candidates are required to check the attached venue images or their exam slip for the exact location of their centre. Knowing your venue ahead of time helps prevent confusion and lateness on exam day.
3. Verify Your Exam Details
- Candidates must ensure that their exam time, venue, batch number, and login credentials match the information on their registration portal. Any discrepancy should be reported early to the appropriate TRCN office.
4. How to Download or Print Your Exam Slip
- Candidates should log into the official TRCN portal to print or download their exam slip:

This slip contains essential details such as venue, batch, time, and candidate identification number.
5. Identity Verification Requirements
At the accreditation point, candidates must present:
- Their exam slip, and
- A valid means of identification, which could be any of the following:
- Voter’s car
- Driver’slicense
- International passport
- Office or institutional ID card
Identity verification is compulsory. Any candidate who fails to provide proper identification will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Forbidden Items in the Exam Hall
To maintain the integrity and security of the PQE, the following items are strictly prohibited within the exam environment:
- Bags or Purses
- Mobile Phones
- Textbooks or Notebooks
- Calculators
- Babies or Children
- Any other incriminating or unauthorized items
Candidates are advised to come only with essential items. Those who bring prohibited items may be denied entry or sanctioned.
Help Desk Services
Candidates who misplace or do not have access to their exam slip can approach the Help Desk at their exam centre for assistance. The Help Desk will also support candidates who need help with personal item safety or other logistical issues.
Exam Time and Batch Arrangements
The exam will be conducted in batches. The first batch begins at 8:00am, and subsequent batches will follow as scheduled. Each candidate must strictly adhere to their assigned batch. Candidates arriving outside their scheduled time will not be permitted to sit for the examination.
Arrival Protocols
Candidates must arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before their scheduled batch time. TRCN emphasizes that candidates do not have any business within the exam centre premises when it is not their designated batch time. This measure is put in place to reduce congestion and maintain orderliness.
Technical Assistance
In case of technical difficulties such as login problems, system errors, or malfunctioning computers candidates must promptly notify the technical personnel available at the venue. No candidate is allowed to leave the exam hall due to technical issues without approval from an examination official.
Exam Conduct and Monitoring
Candidates must remain on the exam interface throughout the duration of the test. Navigating away from the interface, switching tabs, or engaging in external communication will be automatically flagged and may lead to disqualification.
TRCN strongly emphasizes that all instructions provided must be followed strictly. Compliance ensures a smooth examination process and prevents avoidable disqualification. Candidates are encouraged to prepare adequately, arrive early, adhere to all guidelines, and conduct themselves professionally throughout the exercise.
