Link to Check NSCDC, NIS, Fire & Correctional Service CBT Shortlist

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the release of the names of shortlisted candidates for the 2025 recruitment Computer-Based Test (CBT) Examination. This development follows the recently concluded nationwide recruitment exercise into four major paramilitary agencies: the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

Candidates who submitted applications during the recruitment window are advised to visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal to check their shortlist status. To access the portal, applicants are required to log in using their National Identification Number (NIN) and the phone number they used during registration. These details will enable them to confirm whether they have been successfully shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process.

Upon confirmation of their status, shortlisted candidates are expected to immediately upload the required credentials, which may include academic certificates, identification documents, and other relevant records necessary for verification. After completing the upload process, applicants must proceed to print their CBT Examination Slip directly from the portal.

The CBT Examination Slip is a vital document as it contains the date, time, and venue of each candidate’s examination. Candidates are strongly advised to print the slip in good time and carefully review all details to avoid missing their scheduled examination session. Only those who come with their printed examination slip and valid identification will be granted access to the examination centres.

The CDCFIB has urged all shortlisted applicants to strictly follow instructions provided on the recruitment portal and to prepare adequately for the CBT examination. The Board reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process aimed at selecting the most qualified candidates to serve in the various agencies under its supervision.
