ACADEMIC STAFF POSITION
1. Graduate Assistant:
- Requires first Degree with first class and second-class upper.
2. Assistant Lecturer:
- Requires Academic Master’s Degree
3. Lecturer II:
- Ph.D, or a Master’s Degree with relevant experience and professional certifications.
4. Lecturer I:
- Requires a Ph.D with at least 5 publications plus 3 years’ post-qualification experience or Master’s Degree with 7 publications and 5 years of cognate experience.
5. Senior Lecturer:
- Requires a Ph.D with 10 publications and 6 years of relevant experience.
6. Associate Professor:
- Requires a Ph.D with 15 publications, 9 years of cognate experience and must be the lead author in at least 5 publications.
7. Professor:
- Ph.D with 20 publications, 12 years of cognate experience and must be the lead author in at least 10 publications.
NOTE: For all Academic positions other than Graduate Assistant, a candidate must have a minimum of second-class lower Degree apart from the postgraduate Degree(s).
