KASU Postgraduate Programs Application Forms 2025/2026. This is to inform the general public that our online application forms for Postgraduate Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session are available from 10th September to 31st October, 2025.

1. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)

Candidates must have:

1. Five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level, obtained in no more than two sittings.

2. A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with not less than a Third Class, or

3. A Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with at least a Second Class Lower Division, or

4. A Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit in a related discipline from a recognized institution.

Note:
Candidates with a Pass in Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent will not be considered.

2. PROFESSIONAL MASTER’S PROGRAMMES

Candidates must have:

1. Five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level, obtained in no more than two sittings.

2. A First Degree from Kaduna State University or any recognized university in the relevant field with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, or

3. A Third Class Degree or HND, along with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) from KASU or any recognized institution, with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.

3. ACADEMIC MASTER’S PROGRAMMES

Candidates must have:

1. Five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level, in not more than two sittings.

2. A First Degree from Kaduna State University or any other recognized university:

With a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (for applicants to the College of Science, Computing & Engineering), or Second Class Lower Division* (for other Colleges).

3. Candidates with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) from a recognized institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 may also be considered.

4. MPHIL/PHD PROGRAMMES

Candidates must have:

1. Five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level, in not more than two sittings.

2. A First Degree in the relevant field from KASU or any recognized university with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.

3. An Academic Master’s degree (with CGPA below the required threshold for direct PhD admission) from KASU or any other recognized institution.

5. DOCTORATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Applicants must possess:

1. Five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level, in not more than two sittings.

2. A First Degree in the relevant field from KASU or any recognized university with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.

3. An Academic Master’s degre from KASU or any recognized institution with:

CGPA of at least 4.00 (for the College of Science, Computing & Engineering), or CGPA of at least 3.50 (for other Colleges).

4. A research proposal (between 1000-1500 words) is required and must be uploaded during the application process.

Application Fee:

₦10,000 for Nigerian applicants, $20 for non-Nigerian applicants.
